In this year's ComputerWorld survey, 56% of participating organisations reported having a hybrid IT workforce, with 32% opting for fully remote setups and 12% transitioning back to the office, marking a slight increase from the previous year's 10%.
The study also revealed that while organisations may offer employees some autonomy in determining when and where to work, management approval increasingly plays a pivotal role in these decisions. Among respondents, 62% reported having moderate autonomy, where employees enjoy some flexibility while requiring appropriate management authorisation. Additionally, the survey found that 91% of companies have implemented formal policies to support flexible work arrangements, marking a significant increase from the previous year's 83%.
Probe CX continues to invest in the tools and processes necessary to facilitate flexible work. These investments encompass collaboration tools, enhanced security measures and cloud-based applications, ensuring that employees have access to resources and systems from anywhere and at any time.
