Probe CX named a ComputerWorld 2024 Best Place to Work in IT
In a resounding testament to its unwavering commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment, Probe CX has been named one of the "ComputerWorld 2024 Best Places to Work in IT”. The company proudly secured a prestigious top 10 ranking in the global Hybrid Work category and an impressive #60 spot among large organisations that stand out as exemplary workplaces for IT professionals.
Three years since the onset of the global pandemic, which precipitated a seismic shift toward remote work, many organisations have successfully adapted to hybrid work models. These models encompass a blend of remote, hybrid, and in-office work arrangements, reflecting the evolving nature of modern workplaces. In this year's ComputerWorld survey, 56% of participating organisations reported having a hybrid IT workforce, with 32% opting for fully remote setups and 12% transitioning back to the office, marking a slight increase from the previous year's 10%.
The study also revealed that while organisations may offer employees some autonomy in determining when and where to work, management approval increasingly plays a pivotal role in these decisions. Among respondents, 62% reported having moderate autonomy, where employees enjoy some flexibility while requiring appropriate management authorisation. Additionally, the survey found that 91% of companies have implemented formal policies to support flexible work arrangements, marking a significant increase from the previous year's 83%.
Probe CX continues to invest in the tools and processes necessary to facilitate flexible work. These investments encompass collaboration tools, enhanced security measures and cloud-based applications, ensuring that employees have access to resources and systems from anywhere and at any time. Such strategic investments are in alignment with the company's dedication to cultivating a collaborative culture and supporting its workforce's diverse needs.
To further foster a sense of camaraderie and engagement, Probe CX has introduced virtual social events, implemented buddy systems pairing seasoned team members with new hires and established digital resource centres stocked with pertinent communication and policy information. These initiatives are designed to bridge the gap between employees regardless of physical location, fostering strong relationships and ensuring that all team members are well-informed.
Probe CX's inclusion in the ComputerWorld 2024 Best Places to Work in IT list reaffirms its standing as a forward-thinking organisation that champions the needs and aspirations of its IT professionals.
