Probe CX leadership in the spotlight as Andrew Hume named Australia’s top CEO
Probe CX has continued its award-winning run, with Chief Executive Andrew Hume declared CEO of the Year at a prestigious gathering of the nation’s top executives.
Only weeks after the firm was named the 2021 Australia Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan, Mr Hume was honoured for his stellar leadership at The CEO Magazine’s Executive of the Year Awards at The Star Sydney.
In front of a crowd of Australia’s top business leaders, the respected executive received a rapturous reception when he was crowned ‘CEO of the Year ($100m+ turnover)’ for 2021.
The awards celebrate the achievements of executives and entrepreneurs across Australia, with an experienced judging panel choosing 17 category winners from 122 finalists including the night’s two top awards – CEO of the Year ($0-100 million) and CEO of the Year ($100 million+).
Mr Hume said he was honoured to have been identified as one of the nation’s leading CEOs, especially given the quality of his fellow executives.
“One only had to look around the room to recognise the incredible work being done by so many business leaders across Australia,” said Mr Hume, who has held various leadership roles within the customer experience industry including at Aegis, Hollard Financial Services and Salesforce Australia.
“Any CEO is only as good as the people they lead and I am privileged to be part of a team that is committed to hard work, quality service and delivering on our vision to become the most sought-after and respected customer experience provider."
“This recognition will only inspire us to reach for greater heights.”
Mr Hume has overseen an unprecedented period of expansion at Probe CX, with the company having grown during the past five years from about 300 staff in two locations to 18,000 people across four countries and revenues soaring to more than $630 million.
“I may be acknowledged as the leader of the Probe CX team but an equally important aspect of our success is that I am an equal member of our team,” he said.
“I pride myself on being with my colleagues in the trenches, showing not telling and doing as much heavy lifting, if not more, than I would ever ask of them."
“Passion is without doubt one of the keys to our success as I am a firm believer that passionate people deliver exceptional performance, contribute ideas and challenge the status quo.”
With 18,000 staff across four countries, Probe CX is a leading customer experience and digital transformation organisation that specialises in process simplification, user experience design, customer journey mapping, workforce optimisation, data analytics, customer sentiment analysis, digital deployment and automation.
